Gr. 9 Social Studies

Gr. 9 Social Studies is a study of Canada. This course is a true Social Studies course, as we will be examining the geography, history, demographics, and other aspects of Canada. Although the history of Canada will be touched on as it applies to the topics, the political systems, legal systems, and current events are examined, with a focus on Human Rights.

 

Sept 9 - 13 - Course began with an introduction.

First assignments are map assignments. A Political Map of Canada, Physiographic map of Canada.

Sept 16 - 20 - Watershed map of Canada and a Population density study of Canada.

Sept 23 - 27 - Finish climagraphs.

Wednesday, Oct. 2 -  Canadian Political Map.
