Gr. 9 Language Arts

Welcome to Gr. 9 Language Arts!  This year we will be exploring the 5 areas of Language Arts: Reading, Writing, Listening/Viewing, Speaking/Representing, and Critical Thinking. 

A good way I like to frame Language Arts is through Effective Communication. This is how we will be framing our Language Arts year. This year is providing us an excellent opportunity to cross-subject learning...the ability to explore Social Studies and Science through Language Arts and vice versa is a silver lining to this years' organization!
